Well, it finally happened. I ran into an issue that I just couldn't solve with PHP4, so I switched it to PHP5 - Instant fix.
The issue was related to GIFs and image transparency. The code appears to be fine, as it works on PHP5. Why it doesn't work on PHP4, I'll never know, but with PHP4 no longer being supported, I guess I won't need to know either.
So long, PHP4, it was nice knowing you, but I needed the site to work rather than to constantly pander to you.
(As a side-effect, future releases of the site CMS will probably be PHP5 compatible, PHP4 only working by minor miracle)
