The past two days haven't exactly been easy for me (You'll note that the site hasn't changed at all, in fact, as a side effect)

Yesterday I woke up to find that my family had given away one of my cats. He's currently a two-hour car drive away with one of my other cats who I agreed would be better off leaving.

So naturally this was a cause for me to throw perhaps the biggest fit in my life, and it took just about everything in order to get my cat back. Tomorrow, all being well, I should have him back home. Nonetheless, I can't say it's been the easiest few days.

I may have my cat back tomorrow. Certainly, I hope so. I just needed a place to say it. :p

I said I was going to post what happens, and I guess I forgot to, so here's a run-down of what's happened in the past week:

I called the breeder and asked if she'd consider letting me have my cat back, she eventually agreed and we went down there in the morning (I was actually awake in AM, it was weird), to be there for mid-afternoon. We spent a while there, then came back with my cat. :)

I've been spending the past few days re-introducing him to the household. He's happier here than he was there, and the cats have just about gotten used to having him around again. Things are actually better than they were before for him, and he doesn't seem to have any more issues. It seems that the hierarchy shift has done the trick, but I'm not going to call it.

Either way, I'm just glad to have my cat back.
